I accidentally stumbled into an anti-Prop8 protest and happened to have my camera with me. The group walked to the intersection of 18th and Castro in San Francisco, sat in the road and got other people to join them. The SF police were fantastic! They carefully made sure nobody was hurt by cars, but allowed the protest to continue as long as enough people were occupying the intersection to effectively block it.
